Emerald Phoenix (aka Zoomie) is a 2013 colt by Tatendrang *Pb* o/o Emerald Fire by Oskar *Pg*. Zoomie (so named after the nick name for USAF Academy Grads) is a big boy - he sticks a solid 15 hh at 15 months old at the wither and taller at the hip, with big bones and joints. He is expected to mature over 16.3 hh. Very laid back disposition who wants to please and is unflappable. 3 very good to excellent gaits that have strong push from behind, are uphill, and show freedom through the shoulder. Fully registered and branded with the ATA, he could go for approvals if wanted. Sire is competing at Intermediate/CCI** level in eventing. Dam was very lightly shown at Training Level dressage while pregnant with Zoomie - she was shown in hand as a youngster and was USDF HOY as a yearling. She was also the Reserve High Point Mare at her inspection at the ATA Convention as a 3 year old. Dam sire was a GP Dressage horse who is by the immortal Hockey (who has sired more than 60 international level jumpers and dressage horses). Dams siblings are all competing in dressage, eventing, hunter/jumpers successfully. Photos are from August 2014. Asking $10,000 at this time and am neg to a good/performance home.
