Emergency foster needed!! A woman from Ohio contacted UnderDog this week about two dogs who belong to her sister in Bradenton. The woman in Bradenton is in the hospital and is not expected to recover. The dogs are currently alone in her apartment in Bradenton. The neighbor is taking them out and feeding them, but it is now an emergency situation. The sick woman has no other family, no children and her dogs were her life. She loved her dogs very much and it hurts me to think of this happening. Connie from Ohio contacted Manatee Animal Control/Humane Society who is not taking owner surrenders right now. Which in itself, is not good news for anyone. Connie solicited our help through our UnderDog website. Connie stated if we could not take the dogs ASAP, she was going to have them humanely euthanized. Donna and I both reached out to her. Here is a picture of the dogs. They need fosters tomorrow. We have no place to put them. I believe they are both males. They said the Shih Tzu is young and friendly. The cocker is shy. Is there anyone out there who can help in this situation? We still have three dogs who also need immediate fosters here: Taz, Michael, and Jackie. All three of our current UD rescues still need fosters.
