Emergent declaration, Inala November 29, 2014 at 4:59 pm Police have declared an emergent situation under the Public Safety Preservation Act (PSPA) after being called to an incident at a residence in Inala this afternoon. Around 12:40pm police were called to a Lorikeet Street address in relation to a man allegedly damaging property and making threats. The situation is continuing with specialist police currently on scene. The emergent situation was declared at 4:04pm and applies to an area between Lorikeet Street, Partridge Street, Sunbird Street and Shelduck Street, Inala. Traffic disruptions are minimal however motorist are urged to avoid the area. Nearby residence are asked to stay indoors while police respond to the situation. There is no further information available at this stage.
