Emma Hunter gave me the number 11....So here goes: 1. U2 are my favourite band I have been a fan for 31 years. I love to see U2 as much as I can, it us the only tine I am ever in the moment....Normally I have the attention span of a goldfish, my mind is always active and running away 100 to the dozen! 2 I an a big music fan. My favourite pastime is going to watch my fave bands. Other than U2 I love Korn, Linkin Park, The Who, The Cure, The Buzzcocks, Stiff Little Fingers, The Pistols, The Dead Kennedys, Thin Lizzy, 10CC, Sting & The Police, Roy Wood & ELO! 3. My first hero was Cliff Richard when I was 10 years old. My next hero was David Steel and wgen I was 12 I discovered Roy Wood my mother was horrified wgen I took down my clean cut posters of Cliff & David & replaced them with Roy! 4. My favourite teacher at primary school was the late, great Mr Bill McLaren. His nick name for me was Grinda Lean The Flying Machine! My favourite teacher at high school was Mr Houston the history teacher I always got top marks for history, not because I was knowledgeable, but because Mr Houston always made the lesson so interesting. He told the best ghost stories! Mr Houston once told me he would love a long scarf like Ton Baker in the Dr Who series, so when Olevels were finished I organised with sone if the other lassies in the class to knit him the scarf. My mother & I dud the lions share....Probably my mother mire than me. Mr Houston was thrilled with the scarf and paraded ut around the other classes! I wonder if he still has it! 5.i was born in Barnsley, Yorkshire, England. My Mum & Dad met during the war, he was stationed at Stobbs Camp, just outside Hawick. They married after the war & my brothers David, Fred & myself were born. My father died when I was 3 years old. My Mun, Fred & I moved to Hawick just before my 5th birthday. Some people were horrible to me when I was young, they called me a bastard because I didnt have a father. I just didnt understand! 6. I nearly bit my tongue in half when I was little. It was very traumatic having it stitched together, a nurse held my legs down & my mother held my arms down whilst the Dr stitched my tongue together. I couldnt speak properly for weeks and my lovely brother took the mickey....As brothers do! :) Im very lucky I can speak at all. ...Just as well I can talk the hind legs off a donkey. My kids love/hate when I show them my tongue! :) 7. The first people I met when I moved to Hawick were The Heggies. Mr & Mrs Heggie were always so kind to me. Susan Heggie was my first friend in Hawick....Always a lovely lassie, still is to this day! Thanks Susan ♥ 8. Italian food is my favourite. I love chicken breast but not red meat, I have never eaten a steak in my life! I dont like any food that looks like an animal. I can eat fish as long as it is, skinned, fileted and battered. If it has eyes & a head....Im not eating it! :/ 8. I have the best, most loyal friends in the world....You know who you are! I am very blessed to have you in my life! :) 9. I love to laugh...But you know that already. I have a pretty warped sense of humour and I have a loud, raucous laugh but I cant help it! Just dont make me laugh at inappropriate times! :) 10. I wear my heart on my sleeve and if I love you, you know it I have always told everyone I love that I love them....I think my children get sick of hearing it, my grandchildren dont though. I tell you because my mother never told me and I dont want you to ever wonder like I do. I want you to always know I love you! ♥ 11. I am the luckiest person on the planet. I love the best music & I have the best friends. What more could a girl ask for? :)
