Emma Watson is amazing. Feminism is about gender equality not man haters and this is the first time I have heard of someone including a male perspective in a gender equality speech. I want to take this time to confess my small guilty pleasure that I actually have felt ridiculed for because it seems lame or unmanly. My guilty pleasure is that I am obsessed with High School Musical. I have watched all 3 movies multiple times. My biggest celebrity crush is Vanessa Hudgens. I think Zac Efron is a good looking man and totally have a man crush on him as well. I used to secretly watch it in my room at my Fraternity house because I was embarrassed of being made fun of. I know all the songs by heart and when I am driving on a road trip, I blast it in my car because singing along to the songs helps me stay awake at the wheel. High School Musical 3 actually helped me move on from high school and help me breakfree and challenge the status quo in my college years. This confession may be small but many times I felt like hiding this from a lot of my friends because of gender stereotypes. If we can abolish gender stereotypes then we can all be free.
