Emma had another great day of therapy! she is getting better with imitation speech. There is a little girl that gets therapy there-i think she is 5 or 6 years old. this little girl loves emma and always says hi, shares therapy toys, and gets emma to smile. the speech therapist got emma to say maggie-the name of this little girl :) it was very precious!!! Emma was pretty wiped out as she had an extra hour of speech therapy due to the holiday week trying to ensure she gets all her therapies in! she handled it like a trooper-even with no nap! we also had lunch with some friends :) the roads were not good today-snow covered mess! one of the moms in our area who had gotten her childrens car seats inspected after our accident was involved in a side impact crash then hit the guardrail. the impact was eerily similar to mine in that the impact was located mostly on the passenger side where her kids were sitting! they were all uninjured thank goodness!!! car seat safety works!!! If you could please say a prayer for my cousins wife. She just found out she has thyroid cancer. while it is never a good time to get a cancer diagnosis getting the results on Thanksgiving eve just seems cruel. She is a very strong woman and I know she can beat this!!! Hope that all of you have a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with family friends good mood and memories :))
