Emma practiced with the U8 developmental team tonight. This may not be a big deal to some, but to her it was huge step out of her comfort zone. When training drills went co-ed, she dribbled around one of the boys and then another knocked her down. She got right back up and tried to chase the ball down. Shes come a long way from the days of crying after every bump or mis-kick. The first thing she said to me was, dad, can I play with them again next week?
