Emmanuel Church of the Living God will be celebrating - "Remembered In Love - "Historical Landmark Memorial Tribute In Memory of THE PENFIELD - WARDWELL GRAVESITES" - The Unveiling of the historic stone with bronze. This event will take place on Tuesday, August 13, 20123 @ 2:00PM. The Public is Invited. Ormond Beach Historical Society, City Officials, the Mayor, City Manager of Ormond Beach, Television Networks, Local Newspapers, Radio Stations along with Bishop Dr. L. Delores Simmons Ward will be participants on the Celebration. Emmanuel Church of the Living God will be officially declared "A Historical Landmark of Ormond Beach, FL". The Church has dedicated their Welcome Center located in the Church as a "historical Memorial with photos, displays, newspaper articles, etc for the Visitors to Ormond Beach to tour. The Church facility is also being placed on the City Tour Guide for celebrities, Government Officials, New Businesses to the area, Hotel & Convention Services Tours, etc. The gravesites located on the Church Property are the original founders of the City of Ormond Beach. They have been there and maintained since 1881.
