Emotional Indian Politics- With the Upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha - TopicsExpress

Emotional Indian Politics- With the Upcoming 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, we see tons of messages and images all over Facebook, Twitter and such social connecting apps. But more than that, we see individuals and groups getting personal over such discussions and fighting over it. I am sure it is not that difficult to have a healthy conversation and a debate on who and why someone should vote for. After all, getting someone to the PM seat should be more of a calculative decision than an emotional one. Why do individuals want their favoured candidate to win over the negatives of the other candidate and not their own positives? Is it that your own favoured candidate does not have any postives to be the basis of being voted or is it that you do not understand how to gain votes on basis of the candidates positive points. I guess the next 50 days should be spent by showcasing the positive points of your favoured candidate rather than opposition bashing and negative publicity. Why not let the best man win on basis on positives points. It is simple to have a clean and decent discussion on why your favoured candidate should be the PM, but we are used to the blaming, shouting, screaming and fighting over it. Elections should be based on Vote For, Vote For and not Do not Vote For, Do Not Vote For This goes for all parties and all candidates. I hope for a calmer and better discussed next 50 days rather than groups of angry mobs and supporters all around!
