Emotions are so goofy... I was just dusting a book shelf in my living room when I came across this little ceramic trinket box. It was my mothers. As I picked it up to move it so i didnt knock it off the shelf i felt something rattle inside. When I opened it up, tears instantly flooded my eyes. Its my daddys hearing aid. Goofy, right? I dont know why it made me so emotional. I guess I wasnt expecting it. He often kept it in his top overalls pocket. When daddy passed, my brother Chris made each of us siblings a shadow box with dads overalls that he actually wore and put his pens and pocket knives in it. Thats what he always carried in his top pocket, I think Ill put that hearing aid in the pocket of those overalls for safe keeping. #MISSINGMYDADDYTODAY
