Empirical evidence (also empirical data, sense experience, - TopicsExpress

Empirical evidence (also empirical data, sense experience, empirical knowledge, or the a posteriori) is a source of knowledge acquired by means of observation or experimentation. The term comes from the Greek word for experience, Εμπειρία (empeiría). Empirical data is reality. When your beliefs are contrary to masses/preponderance of empirical data/facts, they are in error and should be adjusted to avoid cognitive dissonance and continued ignorance. Willful ignorance is stupidity. Saalome LJ Lawrence J Jones Sr.
