Employees are backbone of our administration Im glad to have launched the Employees Health Scheme today. I believe employees are backbone of the administration. ‘Employees Health Scheme’ of our government is the first of its kind in our country as it provides quality treatment to the employees, pensioners and their family members in government as well as corporate hospitals, on a cashless basis. By launching this scheme, we have cleared long-pending issues at one stroke. The scheme will benefit 22 lakh people. It will ensure inpatient treatment to as many as 1,885 procedures with follow up treatment and out-patient treatment for 25 chronic diseases which include specialist consultation, investigations and medicines. We are concerned about the well-being and health of employees. I believe that “Health is Wealth”. I want people of our state to be healthy and happy.
