Empower the people - The story in this post is why I am so proud to be with Empower Network. The majority of the people that you will meet when you go to one of our conventions are caring, fun and creative hardworking people. People that are on a mission to change their lives by learning to Empower themselves with our products and training...learning to take control of their lives and help others do the same. I have never met David Wood but I can tell you from what I have seen and heard via recorded videos, he is one bad-ass caring individual! I did get to meet his business partner David Sharpe in Washington DC this past weekend. When he and I spoke up on the roof of the hotel, he asked me how I was doing. I told him I was doing pretty well but I also told him that I wanted my wife to understand the power of our company and products and to join hands with me and build it together like so many of the other spouse teams. The answer I got from David Sharpe was not...what I expected or wanted to hear. The answer I got was this...Continue to put checks in the bank and give her time! What I expected to hear was do whatever it takes and get her to the next event and she will see it! After all, this is what other leaders in other companies have told me in the past. But no, David Wood and David Sharpe are not like the others. They purposely do things differently....from the way they dress to the way that they talk, they are different. I am home and feel blessed to have found a home in a business where I can be who the hell I want to be. Thank you Dave and Dave! Thank you Jennifer Merrill and Michael Castiglione. :)
