Empowerment Series #10 Perfectionists have big dreams but get in their own way way a form of procrastination that blocks them from engagement. This procrastination force is so strong for them that the individual is paralyzed to perform and they will keep on waiting until the time is perfect to get into action. Highly successful people know that there is no perfect time and things do not have to be perfect. You just have to be like Nike and JUST DO IT. You must realize there is no better time to begin than now and use your talents to direct you the best you are able to. Successful people embrace Imperfection! Even this video is not perfect as there is wind in some parts that overpowers the audibility of my speech, but if I were to wait until there is no wind, I may as well end up never shooting the video as anyone who lives out my way knows how it is very windy year round here. So to take the issue of Perfectionism and correct it, one must just make the conscious choice that they are far better off getting started than not. The key to successful people winning is that they are imperfect and just keep working at getting better all the time. They do not let imperfection stop them from starting. Fed Ex was not even close to being perfect when they started and chose to be in the big leagues of parcel and package delivery. They made the choice to just get going and correct things as they went along. United States Postal Service was king when Fed Ex began.... and now USPS is on its knees while FED Ex is the king of shipping. Keep on being imperfect, yet embrace this less than perfect self expression while you actively engage and go after the things you want out of life!
