Empty Your Drawers, an Every Penny Counts Campaign, takes place Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Castro benefiting AIDS Emergency Fund (AEF). 2013 marks AEF’s 31st year of service to the San Francisco community and Every Penny Counts’ 26th year as the longest running AEF fundraiser. It’s time to empty your drawers and pockets, dig under the sofa cushions, and reach under that car seat for that elusive loose change or bill. Break open those piggy banks! This Saturday, our volunteers will be the BRIDGEMEN from Stop AIDS who will be collecting your change and bills at Castro and Market Streets from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the top of the Castro Muni Station’s main entrance.
