The handleset is operated by a key from the exterior, and a thumbturn from the interior. The door is opened from the exterior by a metal handle with thumb grip, and by your choice of a variety of knob and lever options from the interior. Uncompromisingly rugged and beautifully crafted, these locks are suitable for the very finest homes. Note: Beaded Egg Knob, Dog Knob, Lafayette Brass Lever, Lancaster Knob, Ribbon & Reed Knob, Ribbon & Reed Lever, Rope Knob and Rope Lever not available in Flat Black finish. The Brass Modern Collection s knob / lever handles are supported by springs mounted behind the rosettes and sideplates, which return the handles back to the rest position and prevent lever sag.
