Enactus SRCC in association with Campus Community Partnership (C2P) Foundation presents the CASE (Community, Academic, Service, Entrepreneur) Grant competition 2013!– a unique opportunity open to all undergraduate students across Delhi-NCR to showcase their business idea for a social entrepreneurship project they would like to implement. With an aim to encourage students to apply classroom learning to address community problems with innovative and sustainable solutions, CASE Grant winners are selected on the basis of the impact, partnership and academic service learning of the models they propose. This competition will be carried out over a series of 3 rounds, at the end of which up to 3 teams have the chance of winning a grant of Rs. 30,000 to implement their models, a certificate of merit from the C2P Foundation, and potential media coverage for their project. The structure of the competition is as follows- ROUND 1- It will be an online round, wherein participants will be required to answer a set of basic questions regarding the community and their idea, in general. Having a concrete business model is not essential at this stage. On the basis of the answers, teams will be shortlisted for Round 2. ROUND 2- This will also be an online round, and a very important phase in the competition. It will involve teams undertaking field visits to the community and coming up with a business model. Each team will be allotted an Enactus SRCC senior to mentor and guide them through this round. On the basis of answers to this round, teams will be shortlisted for Round 3. ROUND 3- This will be the final round of the competition wherein finalist teams will be required to present their projects to top business professionals. Teams will get an opportunity to interact with renowned corporates and convince them of the feasibility of their business plan. Upto 3 teams will be awarded a cash grant of Rs. 30,000 to implement their models. Rules and Regulations: 1. This competition is open to all undergraduate students in Delhi - NCR. 2. The maximum team size is 4 members. Individual participation is permitted. 3. Cross-collegiate teams are allowed. 4. Each team is required to appoint a faculty advisor to oversee the activities of their project. For cross-collegiate teams the faculy advisor may be from the college of any one team member.
