Encouraging Word For Your Day. Monday. Holy Spirit Day 7 Wisdom Wisdom is one on the Seven Gifts of the Holy Spirit. Wisdom is the first gift and is considered the highest of the Holy Spirit because it is the perfection of the theological virtue of faith. Wisdom is the gift of knowing the right choices to make to live a holy life. The gift of wisdom helps you avoid the things that could lead you away from God. Through wisdom you as a Christian come to value properly those things which you believe through truth. Therefore, these are truths you hold dear to your heart and believe in as your beliefs, as a Christians are definitely more important than the things of the world. When you exercise your gift of wisdom as you cooperate with the graces that you receive from the Holy Spirit you grow spiritually as a follower of Jesus. Wisdom allows you the opportunity to see things from Gods perspective: fullness of knowledge through the affinity of the divine: supplements the virtue of faith: as well as shields you against folly.
