Encryption hosting services are shutting down all over the country. The government is pressuring the owners and hosts to no longer provide software to the public that allows emails to be sent via encryption. People involved with the encryption services are receiving gag orders to prevent them from discussing if they have personally been contacted by the NSA or any other agency in regards to their services. Reading between the lines it is obviously an attempt by the government to force communications to be more easily collected into one of the many new super databases the government has created recently to collect and catalog information sent over the internet. The government will surely claim that ending public access to encrypted email services is to protect the public against future terrorist threats. This is no way to justify spying on the American people, nor will there ever be a reasonable excuse for spying on the American people. Spying on everyone is a violation of the 4th Amendment. Forcing encrypted email services to shut down is a violation of the First Amendment -SDE huffingtonpost/2013/08/09/silent-circle-shutting-down-encripted-email_n_3732779.html
