End of day 4, June 5, Vernon Brewer here, got pathologist results not perfect but not much in life is. Surgeon says he got out everything that he thought could be problems but she may still need further treatment, chemo, etc. Those decisions to be determined by oncologist, we meet with them tomorrow but they can do nothing until surgery heals. Nancy is in a lot of pain tonight, they have removed all tubes... and now she has to deal with pain via injection. A big part is behind her but more still lies ahead, keep her in your prayers and she really appreciated those that sent e-cards via the hospital website as requested earlier. The hospital was really surprised when they brought her so many, it really works nicely. Thanks again to all your overwhelming concern, support and prayers. Hopefully Nancy will be posting here for herself very soon.
