*** End of the Boycott - Free Unlimited Baklava / Boykotun Sona Erişi *** As mentioned earlier on Monday, October 20, a meeting took place with the university administration where a joint decision was taken. As a result of the meeting with the Boycott Committee, the university administration has addressed our demands in a positive way. This process ended in a pleasant manner and no worker was fired. At the same time, it was assured that catering services will continue at the East, West and South campuses as usual. Finally, At the East Campus, same quality meals will be served for 7 TL for 4 course meals, everyday. The menu must include soup (2 kinds) + the main meal course + secondary course + salad/dessert/yogurt /ayran/drinks. However, the system that was explained in the last email by the university will be implemented at West and South Campuses. However, dinner at the West campus will be again 4 course meal and the price will be 7 TL, only. We have achieved what we demanded so the Boycott Committee is pleased to announce that the Boycott at Şehir is over now. However, the negotiations with the university administration for price decrease at Cafe more regarding the meals and especially çay, are still continued. The official announcement regarding this change will be made by the Istanbul Şehir University on October 21, 2014. We invite everyone to join us in the celebrations of our achievements at the West Campus Amphitheater by 18:00. There will be unlimited Baklava, inşAllah. We congratulate you all for the happy ending. ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Daha önceden belirtildiği üzere 20 Ekim Pazartesi günü de üniversite yönetimiyle yapılan mevcut görüşmeler devam etmiş ve ortak bir kararda anlaşılmıştır. Boykot komitesinin yaptığı görüşmeler neticesinde, üniversite idaresi taleplerimizi olumlu bir şekilde değerlendirmiştir. Bu süreç içerisinde hassasiyet gösterilen, herhangi bir şekilde işçi çıkarılmaması temin edilmiş olup, aynı zamanda da Doğu, Batı ve Güney olmak üzere üç kampüste de yemekhane hizmetinin devam etmesi sağlanmıştır. Nihai olarak, Şuan devam eden aynı kalite ve şartlarda, Doğu kampüste 4 tabak yemek 7 TL olarak sunulacak olup; menü, çorba (2 çeşit alternatifli) + ana yemek + yardımcı yemek + salata/tatlı/cacık/ayran/yoğurt şeklinde olacaktır. Batı ve Güney kampüslerinde geçen hafta yeni düzenlemeyle belirlenmiş mevcut sistem devam edecektir. Ayrıca, akşam yemekleri Batı kampüste mevcut hâliyle devam edecek ve fiyatı 7 TL olacaktır. Arzu edilen kazanımın elde edildiği kanaatinden ötürü, boykot komitesi yemekhanede yirmi gündür süren boykotu sonlandırma kararı aldığını memnuniyetle bildirir. More Kafe’de abartılı bulunan fiyatlar ve çay fiyatlarıyla ilgili görüşmeler devam edecektir. İlgili resmi açıklama üniversite rektörlüğünce 21 Ekim Salı günü içerisinde yapılacaktır. 21 Ekim Salı günü saat 18.00’de bu kazanımları kutlamak maksadıyla herkesi Batı Kampüs amfiye davet ediyoruz.
