End of year thoughts, The hardest part of my job is not fundraising, administrative tasks, or youth group nights that go down in flames (only when I plan them:/) The hardest part is when I see any of the teens in pain and I cant make it better. Its a lot like family in that way, I feel the same way about my own kids and I KNOW its not my job to fix things, but it doesnt make it any easier. Perhaps just being there and praying for and with them, sharing in the pain in hopes it will lessen the burden is the most we can do. Maybe thats something they can take away, that they dont need to be fixers or have all the answers but that just being there for their friends is enough.
