Endemico Hotel – Baja California, Mexico If you want to be able to enjoy an authentic Mexican experience without having to travel to the heart of the country, then you should probably spend some time at the luxurious Endemico Hotel in Baja California. The eco-friendly hotel, set to open this year, is located in Valle de Guadalupe in Baja California. Just an hour and half ride from San Diego and designed by Jorge Garcia of Gracia Studio, the Endemico Hotel is part of the renowned Mexican hotel group Habita. The hotel is made up of 20 EcoLofts, which are made from steel and set up on stilts. Each luxurious 20-sq meter room features a bathroom, a terrace, a clay fire pit and views of the valley below. A communal pool and hot tub are sunken into the hillside and enjoy panoramic vistas or the hills. From the hotel, guests have access to, the Culinary Arts School of Tijuana, wine tours, and a variety of other activities.
