Enders Game Movie Review: 6.5/10 This visually exciting and dramatically unique sci-fi story can at times feel heavy handed and scattered with its direction but in the end it is a successful piece of entertainment. The movie is at its strongest when it takes a step back and lets the visuals amaze and lets its story keep you intrigue. Asa Butterfield gives a good performance that keeps us engaged in his conflicted character and makes us truly feel for him. Director Gavin Hood is able to deliver some very exciting sequences that utilize the movies great visuals and emotion but sadly he makes the movie have an inconsistent feeling by rushing and falling flat on some scenes. Also the dialogue is at times too explanatory and can make some moments feel cheesy. Thankfully the movies ends on a very high note that pushes the story home. So yes it is a mixed bag but in the end its worth it.
