Ending 2014 on more of a reflective mood today, than planning on how we will celebrate the New Year tonight. Maybe that is what happens when you grow older or you can not do much other than recover from surgery? :) Going through the years, I had always thought that life would get easier? 2014 was an eye opener... it does not. There will always be those moments in our lives that will test us... that will break you, if you allow it. Whether it is; the loss of a loved one, a misunderstanding between friends, an accident, job loss, plans that do not work out, health problems, our surroundings or many of the things we do not want to experience. What will get easier is how you choose to handle the situation, to grow wiser and become stronger because of it. How you learn to accept and forgive, take the good with the bad and how t handle the disappointments you have been handed and more importantly to appreciate fully the blessings in your life. Remember, that it is all a part of your journey and makes you who YOU are. I am more than ready to retire 2014 and enter into a new year and a new season of life, yet reflecting on all that was amazing, lost and gained.
