Energy Medicine pg 31: Our healing abilities still reside in our ancestral bones, our healing hands, our compassionate hearts, and our intuitive brains. I believe that as infants we see and feel the energies that surround people and that we innocently absorb information about their health, mood, character, and soul. But our culture does not talk about or reinforce such perceptions. ...and I agree. Our culture and society does not talk about such perceptions and I think it is Time that we begin that dialogue. I am part of this society. I have been taught and conditioned to run to someone else for my answer and not look within as if responsibility for my health and the health of my family does not belong to me but to the doctors. I started the Healing Wisdom Study Group so I can begin, one step at a time, to reverse the conditioning and relearn what nature has to teach about living healthy with the materials that nature provides in the form of herbs, oils, stones, fruits, veggies, etc. This study on Energy Medicine is ongoing.
