Engineering Jobs: Job Location: Real Estate First Category, Cairo: 1) QUALITY CONTROL ENGINEER – AI QC MGR: Required Experience: from 10 to 14 years experience, background experience with site works. Education: Bachelor Engineering in Architecture or Fine arts. Role:- Will supervise & carry out all activities pertaining architectural & finishing quality control site activities, as detailed in the responsibilities & tasks below. Responsibilities & Tasks:- • Develop quality control setup & procedures, for the proper handing over to the clients. • Perform architectural inspections for the completed works by contractors. • Perform reporting to the operations manager. • Detect & anticipate works problems before occurs. • Provide troubleshooting for works conflicts between different trades. • Push site activities to the maximum, omit any obstacles that might affect negatively on works progress. • Review shop drawings, coordination between different work trades. 2) QUANTITY SURVEYOR ENGINEER: Required Experience: 4 to 8 years experience, in which 2 to 3 of them in relevant job & background experience with site works. Education: Bachelor Engineering in Architecture or Civil Engineering. Responsibilities & Tasks:- • Quantity-take off for various work trades. • Review & analyze contractors invoices. • Cost analysis. • Pricing analysis & breakdown. 3) Senior Design Coordinator: Required Experience: 14 to 18 years experience, in which at least 5 years of them in site works. Education: Bachelor Engineering in Architecture. Role:- Will carry out all activities pertaining design coordination & shop drawings, lead design team & report to the Technical Office Manager in all aspects, as detailed below. Responsibilities & Tasks:- • Develop, review design & shop drawings. • Create different proposals &/or concept design drawings. • Prepare tender drawings & documents (as applicable). • Coordinate with different trade consultants & attend coordination meetings, for the proper completion of tender documents. • Prepare preliminary design drawings & presentation on applicable soft wares (3D MAX, Sketchup, ……). • Coordinate shop drawings with other sites technical office engineers & performed site works. • Review & coordinate shop drawings developed by subcontractors. 4) TECHNICAL OFFICE ENGINEER – TOE 2: Required Experience: from 8 to 10 years experience, background experience with interior finishing, office & site works. Education: Bachelor Engineering in Architecture or Fine Arts Engineering. Role:- Will carry out all activities pertaining technical office & project management aspects, as detailed in the responsibilities & tasks below. Responsibilities & Tasks:- • Review design drawings, develop tender documents. • Tendering & Cost analysis & procedures. • Carry out with purchase orders & draft contracts, including price negotiation. • Identify & negotiate works scope with the contractors. • Review & analyze contractors invoices. • Quantity-take off for various work trades.
