Englethorpe decides to check out Southbridge. Someone has lined up the place with a large number of turrets! These are biological turrets, which spit the same kind of thorns used by batons, so they are quite dangerous. Before facing these, it is probably best to face the turrets inside the Hill of Jars. Southbridge also has a giant scorpion infestation, which seem to live inside caves. NOPE. The other side did not yield any shortcuts, but Englethorpe came across two tombs. One contains a book that is too complicated to understand - for now - but the second tomb contained a copy of “Leadership for Dummies”. The knowledge gained from “Leadership for Dummies” allowed Englethorpe to convince Brodus Blade to end the conflict with the Vakkri bandits peacefully, which is quite helpful. It should now be possible to investigate the region north of Vakkri, including the ruined Shaper School. Englethorpe is now Level 9. I wonder what to put those skill points in?
