Our “Own-Your-Own-Beef program allows you to purchase locally raised grass-fed pastured beef while enjoying direct farm-to-table purchasing, cost-effective bulk pricing and customized cut selection. Local, grass-fed steaks for the cost of hamburger! This program offers you the unique opportunity to own your own grass-fed beef animal for the summer. Hager Bros. Farm will custom graze your animal on our lush pastures until market time in the fall. Come fall, you make your beef cut selections and fill your freezer! Heres how it works...this program includes the purchase of a live beef animal, care and grazing at our farm in Colrain for 150 days, photos and updates of your animal as requested, transportation of our animal to the slaughterhouse and information to assist you with the processing of your meat (i.e. cut selection). Meat processing costs payable to the slaughterhouse at time of pick-up, are additional. Your deposit of $500.00 is due at the time of registration. Payment can be made by cash, check, EBT, credit card or Paypal on our website. Additional payments of $1170.00 and $350.00 are due at the end of June and August, respectively. Questions?
