Enjoyed my first real day off in three years...haha...well, I worked a little but at a much slower pace and not all day. ~ House chores in the morning, a little paperwork to set my trip to the bank, then greeted in Brenda McCoy to start her day in the market. Anna went for a ride with me to see Steve and Patrick working at Copalis Beach. They were digging in holes for the two posts that secure the extended over hang on the north side of the building and set up the rebar for inspection and concrete after. And too, the posts for the fence line to soften the edge of the neighbor. More on that tomorrow. Anna and I then headed for Ocean Shores for the banking. On the way I said with a smile, we havent been able to cruise around like this for a long time. I then suggested we get ourselves a milkshake or ice cream cone after the bank. She was good with that idea. Double scoops in a waffle cone, we went all out with a big one, we then headed to town to get a few grocery items and pick up the markets Tinderbox order then cruised back homeward. After a little more paperwork items and a walk to the post office I suddenly had the desire to clean. Ripped apart the back porch laundry room area, finding areas I havent seen in three years ~lol Good day was had by all and we plan on doing pretty much the same thing tomorrow. Pretty blessed to have Brenda in the market. Shes a gem, honest, good worker, knowledgeable and pleasant all day long. I now get to walk away a little with much faith that everyone will be taken care of.
