Enjoyed visiting with acquaintances at thrive community church this morning, and staying after for the fellowship, new friends... :) While i was there, there was that one door at the church though, that i keep leaving open When i would go out... because i couldnt figure out the trick to make it shut... and the person beings behind would close it... Thought nothing of that until this afternoon, when the devotional i read was called pull the door ... and the words i read convicted me... it said when you feel like youre on the outside looking in, to pull open the door to the Bible, which is full of promises for you... If there is one thing i need, its to walk into that door fully...i thought about that door i couldnt shut at the church this morning, and sometimes when God tries to shut doors for me...i keep leaving them open... when He had said you are loved, forgiven and free, i go and open them on my own, i let in inadequacy, guilt and fear all over again...and because i cant shut those doors on my own...i need Him all the more... I need Him... Praying that this week, i can look at the doors in front of me, chose wisely, and walk in the... Then there are lifes doors which He hasnt opened for me to go through, neither has He gone in before me... so i will wait on those doors... cause some doors you just cant make open on your own...
