Enoch should have started his own party as soon as he was sacked from the cabinet after his Wolverhampton speech. I hate to say it, but it his failure to grasp the situation when he had the backing of dock workers and many others (especially in the West Midlands) could have prevented the UK from being in its present situation. He was needed far more in England than in Ulster. We could have avoided EEC membership and closed the doors to mass immigration. A missed opportunity by a towering intellect that cost us dearly. bbc.co.uk/news/uk-politics-29114378
