Enraged by reading about Government Quango recommending we only drink on alternative days. Lloyds actuarial statistics show that people who drink moderately, daily, live longer than those who do not drink. My father, who downed a bottle of Teachers a day was warned in his late sixties by his doc to stop drinking or it would kill him. He stopped and immediately had a heart attack. His doc told him to take up drinking again! When I researched Dead Tomorrow about the world of liver transplants, two of our top liver medics told me, over copious bottles of wine, that the government units recommendations were total bollocks and every individual was different.
