Enrot are four friends who come from all over America and bring with them a diverse range of influences. Russell Grell (guitar) from Orange County, grew up on a solid diet of Thrash and Death Metal, while loving innovative acts like Faith No More and Tool. Ruben (bass) from Los Angeles, brings a love of Hip-Hop, while infusing melody-laden grooves influnced by John Paul Jones (Led Zeppelin), with the speed and thunder of Alex Webster (Cannibal Corpse). Justin (drums) from Chicago, brings a strong knowledge of music theory with an expert-level of musicianship. An author, music teacher and former Berklee College of Music student, Justin mixes the skill and stage presence of Tommy Lee (Motley Crue), with the technical groove of Joey Jordison (Slipknot). Quentin (vocals) From Ohio, brings a brutal-yet-decipherable vocal style that shows influences of Phil Anselmo (Pantera), Cory Taylor (Slipknot), and Lane Staley (Alice In Chains). The members of Enrot met in LA, and found they shared a passion for music and more specifically, a common goal of fusing the styles of older bands like Pantera and Black Sabbath with the speed and technique of newer bands like Devil Driver and Slipknot . Enrots approach to music focuses on artistic expression, unbridled stage energy, and an intimate connection with their audience. Enrot is truly a band where the whole is greater than the sum of its parts. Enrot has been a fixture in the Los Angeles metal scene for two years, and in that short time has had the opportunity to support national metal acts such as Cattle Decapitation. Kittie, Evile, Gama Bomb, Bonded By Blood, Exmortus, Joey Belladona (of Anthrax), All Hail the Yeti, and Metal Sanaz. Enrot is currently supporting their self-titled debut song collection in the southern California area, and are looking for opportunities to bring their brand of entertainment to heavy music lovers everywhere.
