Enterovirus D68 Spreading In Children Across the Country Have you heard on the news about Enterovirus D68 spreading throughout the Midwest? The symptoms progress rapidly. Symptoms include fever, body and muscle aches, sneezing, coughing, congestion and rash. There are over 100 stains of enterovirus causing symptoms from the common cold to fevers and rash (ie. Hand Foot Mouth Disease). But this strain is causing mainly respiratory disease in many kids and leading some to become critically ill. Children with Asthma are more severely affected.
