I think, Colombia lost it in the first two minutes when they decided to try and match Brazil in a game based on passion, pace and work rate rather than the passing and movement which had served them so well throughout the tournament. To get involved in such a game against a far superior man-to-man outfit was simply ludicrous on their part. With the crowd and atmosphere so intense, no team can match the hosts for chest-thumping, adrenaline-fuelled ambition. This is Brazil in Brazil. The assiduous Germans must be taking notes. Also, Colombia played entire first half with the recklessness of a team that is trailing with just a few minutes to go. Referee’s letting both teams exercise challenges with reckless harshness also served Brazil well. JAMES RODRIGUEZ TAKE A BOW! You have looked the most dangerous player on the field in every game you have played. You have put on a tremendous show with a very ordinary cast to support you. Dont fret over all the kicks you received today from the Brazilians, you are leaving the game as one of the very top players in the game.
