Entertaining the idea of trading my clean title rs2.5 for a bugeye wrx. This is the only location I will be posting it because I am still on the fence about it. I bought the car from my friend Luke Avery who owned it for ten years, up until I bought the car in july. It is a 1998 rs2.5 with around 185,000 miles (give or take, I havent looked at the odo in a while) It has had the entire cooling system replaced this year. Radiator, head gaskets, water pump, thermostat, got a new clutch in july, new tires in june, and timing belt was done at 150,000 miles. Including all the pulleys, and the tensioner. When I had the motor apart it looked extremely good, and was very clean. It is an absolutely excellent daily driver, and I love the car. Im just really missing four doors and being in a wrx. This car needs absolutely nothing, air conditioning, power steering, cruise control, and the sunroof all still work, and they work great. It is to my knowledge the only mods are adjustable gc8 sit pink struts, sti front and rear sway bars, kartboy shifter, and a front strut tower bar. (Possibly STi, I cant remember at the moment.) I also put a cold air intake on it to take care of some of the throttle response, but I have the factory air box to go back on the car. The body is in decent shape, but it has some flaws, dent on the driver side fender, and paint fade on the passenger side roof, front bumper is in need of paint repair. The hood is beginning to fade but it can be saved with a little bit of buffing. It has rust on the driver side rear quarter and I have ground it down and primered it to keep it from spreading as fast, Its somewhat shaped like kentucky so who knows, maybe youll keep it there. The underside of the car is very clean, this is the only rust on the car. I am only interested in trading to a 02-03 wrx, and it MUST have a clean title, I can add some cash onto for the right trade also. (SUPER RICE TAIL LIGHTS ARE GONE AND IN TRASH, those were just some good pictures after I cleaned and waxed the car to show how nice the paint looks, where it doesnt suck.)
