Entertaining toddlers at home - Animal Balloon Wall Well, my version of the balloons in the doorway is definitely not as pretty as the picture. I wont pretend that I am good at art but I thought I would share my version of, as it was a huge hit with my toddlers. Why was it a hit? It is incredible how drawing their favourite animal (or dinosaur) on to a balloon transforms it from uninteresting to the best thing ever! Materials Balloons, String, Marker or pen. How? Blow up balloons and draw on animals. Head of the animal needs to go to the tied end as they hang upside down. Tie piece of string to 2 points. (I used our verandah because I could not find anywhere suitable inside and they prefer being outside) Tie string pieces to balloon and then tie individually on to the string tied to the 2 points.
