"Entrepreneurs and Brew: in Mexico there are 63 million consumers of beer and every year adds another million, which positions the country at the head of beer consumption in Latin America and sixth in the world, with nearly 62 liters per capita. Currently, the market for specialty beers reaches only 0.05% of the total, just one liter craft beer per 20 000 that are manufactured in the country. But according to the Brewery Association of Mexico (Acermex) this drink, could reach up to 5% of the market in the coming years.
