Entrepreneurship has been the critical engine of economic growth - TopicsExpress

Entrepreneurship has been the critical engine of economic growth in many developed nations. It has been a key driver of innovation, creating new industries, and opening new markets that promote job creation. However, entrepreneurship has not reached its full potential in Ghana and this is largely due to gaps in the entrepreneurial ecosystem that often prevent entrepreneurs from accessing financial resources, expertise, advisory support, and networks needed to start or run a venture. These gaps, coupled with the lack of investable enterprises, highlight the need to support the entrepreneurial ecosystem and increase the number of enterprises particularly youth enterprises that can eventually become self-sustaining in the long term. Our Entrepreneurship training and funding series entered its 2nd phase this past Sunday at the Perez Dome and was attended by over 200 unemployed youth and young professionals. We identified the most effective, replicable and sustainable models and principles that can be used to build a viable entrepreneurial ecosystem in Ghana. Do make time with us this coming Sunday for next session! #socialentrepreneurship #socioeconomy #massemployment #sustainability #yel #y20 #g20
