Entry #8 in my Yesterdays Parade of Long Lost Gino Ruberto Original Songs project is Bucky & Pam. I got the title of this song from inside of a heart spray-painted on the side of GOLDEN LOAF FLOUR air-slide train car while working at the flour mill in Lake City, MN. I was 19 when I wrote it, and this is the song that, to me, legitimized my convictions to uproot myself from Small Town, USA and everyone I loved, and plant myself in the daunting grip of Los Angeles. This video is a LIVE recording from a HOSPICE CARE benefit at Lake City Country Club in 2003. Its my first solo performance after the break-up of my band, Gino Ruberto & Durango. That, plus all the home town jitters. It turned out alright though.
