Entwined in the many conspiracy theories that state 9/11 was something other than what we were told, there is a story about Israeli men that were arrested on the George Washington Bridge, who had a van full of explosives and were going to detonate. Shortly after the story broke, it disappeared. Some news agencies issued a retraction, while others never mentioned it again. Some speculate that was more proof that Israel was behind the operation. I did some FOIA requests to the U.S. Government about this, as I try to investigate any lead that may show an inside job or some kind of story other than what we were told publicly. The National Security Agency (NSA) did offer a response I was not expecting. They gave a GLOMAR Response wherein they say they can neither confirm nor deny that documents exist. This type of response, especially for this type of request, is not commonplace. Request information on an Edward Snowden revelation? Expect a GLOMAR response... but on an (presumably false) allegation on 9/11? Not so much. Let me state for the record, I do not believe that 9/11 was an inside job nor do I believe Israel was behind it. I have spent a lot of time looking for a conspiracy and I cant find one. However, I felt this was of interest, and thought it was worth a mention to those interested.
