Job Description The Environment Manager will be responsible for delivering high value environmental projects to our clients. The Environment Manager will manage and deliver environmental studies associated with Feasibility Studies, Environmental Impact Assessments and other services for major infrastructure, energy, and mining projects. The Environment Manager will also manage planning approvals and permitting applications for such projects. It is expected that the Principal will work with other SNC Lavalin staff to help promote and grow the business in Indonesia. The Environment Manager will maintain relations with current and potential clients, also acts as project and proposal manager for environmental, geotechnical and water projects. The Environment Manager participates in the administrative and operational management of SNC-Lavalin Environment in Indonesia. The successful candidate will possess strong leadership, team building, communication, and technical skills. Responsibilities Leading project environmental teams; Managing all environmental issues associated with various projects on a day-to-day basis; Liaising with clients and key stakeholders; Establishing and maintaining working relationships with relevant Environmental Authorities on behalf of clients and SLE; Managing permits and approvals from authorized government agencies in relation to all environmental impacts. Producing outstanding quality work In close collaboration with other SLE groups, build a team of environmental, geotechnical and water specialists capable of delivering environmental, geotechnical and water projects in Indonesia; Manage bid (proposal) preparation for environmental, geotechnical and water projects in Indonesia and participate in project execution management; Direct and coordinate technical teams and oversee the cost-effective delivery of high quality and timely services to clients in Indonesia; Participate in SLE Indonesia personnel management and supervision, and day-to-day office administration. Requirements At least 10 years of experience in environmental, geotechnical and water fields; Demonstrated ability to interact with internal and external clients at senior levels to implement and execute successful business strategies; University degree in environment, engineering or a related field; Organizational skills, team spirit and leadership capabilities; Self-motivated and result-oriented.
