Environmental activist intensifies hunger strike over lack of conservation on Ganga river By RAJU GUSAIN 22 September 2013 Noted environmentalist Swami Gyan Swaroop Sanand intensified his Ganga agitation by stopping water intake after the Centre showed no signs of taking note of his cause. The 82-year-old activist, who is on fast since June 13 this year at Hardwar-based Matri Sadan, was surviving on lemonade and honey until now. "I will continue my fast till my objectives are not met.
