Envisioning a corporate culture which meets and exceeds the expectations of a wide-range of cultural diversity in today’s global workforce is becoming more-and-more of a major organizational challenge. How can the administration create an organizational culture which allows diversity to propagate? Two of the most important things stewards of cultural diversity can do within the organization is show their subordinates that they value diversity through their values, actions, and decisions, and fortify behavior which demonstrates embracive and defensive values concerning diversity within the corporate culture. Administering routines and individuals in different countries requires a working knowledge of the cultural variables affecting administrative decisions and the effective use of adapting behaviors and expectations to that model. According to Deresky (2014), this skill has become known as cultural intelligence, or cultural quotient (Chap. 3).
