Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this - TopicsExpress

Eph 3:8 Unto me, who am less than the least of all saints, is this grace given, that I should preach among the Gentiles the unsearchable riches of Christ; From the moment of his salvation, the Apostle Paul lived his life under subjection and in obedience to GOD utterly consumed by love for his glorious Savior the Lord Jesus Christ; singularly devoted to the service to which he had been called and set apart; and the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, which he was charged with preaching, changed, defined, and motivated the whole course of his life. Paul was entirely overcome by the Gospel; from the moment of his salvation he was completely gripped with preaching the eternal, unsearchable riches of Christ. This was not only the experience of the Apostle Paul, but also the experience of all the Apostles, and the experience of all the saints who have gone before us. They all had a common ministry, the high privilege and deep responsibility of introducing the Lord Jesus Christ to the world; of making disciples of all nations; of baptizing them in the Name of the father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit; of teaching them to do all commanded by GOD in His Word (Matt 28:19-20) accomplished through the preaching of the unsearchable riches of Christ. As all who have gone before us were called and set apart to be servants of the Most High GOD, we have also been called to salvation and set apart to be used by GOD as the servants of our Most precious Savior Jesus Christ; and their ministry is now our ministry, to continue to introduce Christ Jesus to the world of lost men. The Church has had and continues to have only one message, and all believers from the first convert to the last proclaim the same message, crying out to lost men, "Behold the Lamb of God, which taketh away the sin of the world." (Jn 1:29). The Apostle Paul looked upon himself as the chief of sinners (I Tim 1:15) not worthy to be an apostle (I Cor 15:9), the least of all saints (Eph 3:8), but GOD called him and enabled him to be an apostle for which he was eternally grateful (And I thank Christ Jesus our Lord, Who hath enabled me, for that He counted me faithful, putting me into the ministry I Tim 1:12). Brethren, we too are imperfect servants called and enabled by GOD to "preach" the perfect unsearchable riches of Christ (And He said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the Gospel to every creature. Mark 16:15). Imperfect servants, preaching to others who are also imperfect the perfect Person of the Lord Jesus Christ. So let us gratefully cling to Christ Jesus Who is our life (Col 3:4), Who strengthens us to do all things (Phil 4:13) that we might receive the grace and enablement to continue to accomplished the purpose for which He came (....to give His life a ransom for many Matt 20:28) that we might have life (Jn 10:10); the purpose for which He was delivered (Who was delivered for our offences, Rom 4:25a) and for which He was raised (and was raised again for our justification. Rom 4:25b), always aware that we who are living should no longer live to ourselves, but live for Jesus Who not only died for us, but rose again. II Cor 5:15), that we might be partakers of a glorious living hope (Blessed be the GOD and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to His abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead I Pe 1:3). (O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of GOD! how unsearchable are His judgments, and His ways past finding out! Rom 11:33).
