Ephesians 3:20 THE ANCHOR In the letter to the church in Ephesians the apostle Paul teaches us that we are endless in possibilities. Our God can bring us to a point unimaginable in our lives. Immeasurable things he can do for us. But sometimes we go astray and settle down and set our anchor into the sea and sit in a state of despair, idleness, poverty, depression. We anchor in and become stagnant like a puddle of water. Afraid to take a step into the unknown in faith. We sit there in our own prison. When a ship is anchored for many days it takes on all the seas have to offer. The waves, the storms. In life we very much do the same. We anchor ourselves in the same spot for years never moving and getting to our destination. We sit and take on the rough seas for no reason. Its all self doing. We stay at the same place of work struggling with little pay because we anchor in and get comfortable while our lives dwindle in this economy. We tend to press our own self destruct button. We live in the same place of no hope in a home were things get ripped apart by the storms of life. We fall behind on our bills, responsibilities and set THE ANCHOR! Its time to pull up the anchor and set sail once again. To move forward into the promises of God and not for idleness in the seas of life getting pounded by crashing waves, tumbled by the raging storms on the sea. Its time to pull up anchor and sail towards the goal and unimaginable blessings the Lord has for you and us. To receive the immeasurable blessings promised to us from God the father. Its time TO PULL UP THE ANCHOR AND TAKE OUR FINGER OFF THE SELF DESTRUCTION BUTTON! Be blessed and I hope this message reaches you with faith and the strength to set sail once again on this journey we call life. Theres always hope because we serve a God who has plenty of hope. Unimaginable and immeasurable hope! We serve and believe in the highest God of all creation! Lord set the ships free from the anchor I pray in Jesus name let it be so! Amen. Bless you Lord Jesus Christ! Ephesians 3:20 20 Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us,
