Ephesians 6:10-18 - Put on the FULL ARMOR OF GOD every day so that you are better equipped to defend yourselves against the fiery slings and arrows from Satan and his minions. 1. Put on the Helmet of Salvation - Have assurance that Jesus has saved you, not because of good deeds, but because of His mercy. (2 Tim. 1:9) 2. Put on the Breastplate of Righteousness - Knowing that God promises his protection against the forces of evil for those who have faith in Jesus. (2 Thessalonians 3:3) 3. Put on the Belt of Truth - Living as a person of integrity - as someone who is honest and trustworthy. (1 Peter 2:12) 4. Put on the Shield of Faith - This is a Christians protection against temptation. When faced with authentic faith in God, the powers of darkness are overcome. That is why the apostle John could say, This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith. (1 John 5:4) 5. Put on the Sword of the Spirit - The Word of God. The Gospel, the message of salvation through Jesus Christ. The Gospel is the good news that Jesus came to save us and give us an abundant life, and life forever with the Lord who loves us....if you confess with your mouth, Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:8-9) 6. Prepare your Feet with the Gospel of Peace - Absence of conflict among Christians. The Lord wants believers to live in peace and unity with one another. (1 Thessalonians 5:13; John 13:35) We are living in the darkest days of my lifetime. The forces of evil of Satan and his minions has been at work for many years destroying the moral fabric of this nation and removing God from our schools, public places, TV, movies, music and every aspect of our culture today. Look at the music of our youth. Watch the violence throughout the world with the uprising in the Middle East to the PURE EVIL which exits in our White House, Congress and throughout this corrupt administration and the Democratic Party. At every turn, evil is overcoming good. As Christians, it is up to us to PRAY DAILY to our Lord God Almighty asking his forgiveness for turning our backs on Him individually and as a nation. ONLY THEN, will the Lord God Almighty restore America. It is NEVER TOO LATE to turn to Christ. Accept Him as your Lord and Savior and Share the Good News to the World. Become a Disciple for Christ. COVER YOURSELVES and your friends & family daily with the FULL ARMOR OF GOD. And, PRAY FOR AMERICA. HAVE A BLESSED DAY & SHARE CHRISTS LOVE WITH EVERYONE.
