Epic journey to Childers Got up at 4am and got all the dishes out of cages and milk fed babies done. Fed all the travellers and loaded up. We got away at 5.30... It didnt take long for Cricket to decide this was not Kosha and he wanted out. We were on the minden range in all the road works with two way traffic up one side. Out he comes pees on Ivie and tries to get to Popo. Frantically searching for a pull over spot... Bag him and get the vallium (despite advice to the contry~next time Im going to inject before I leave home) Check on the others with Trucks screaming past us! Off we go again thankfully the vallium lasted till we were about 15 min from destination. It was a fairly good run traffic wise thanks to Melbourn Cup I guess But the police presents was phenomenal 36 we saw all up I think. Had to stop near Gympie and get out walk round the car kicking the wheels as I kept nodding off (steph reckons this is why we got a flat) We pulled into the Driveway and there was a Redneck mum with pouch Joey drinking from the new dam and another female with her but not ones I recognised.Then at the house there is Tommie like an Askari guarding the gate. We off loaded the kids and let them stretch their legs. Cricket was out and off checking out the talent on the otherside of the fence! Popo was out enjoying the grass and Ivie had a ball in the enclosure Running with her tail held high so regal. They had a ball~brought a tear to my eye watching them play. We fed them all but Popo refused her bottle :( but I thought ok she will be good and hungry when Cathy needs to feed her. We had a lovely time there, great company great food and the best views ever. Buddy was a card in the garden looking so forlornly at the empty feed troughs. We went for a drive to see the dam WOW! absolutely Stunning! Fed the bubs and went out to load the car to head home...well that wasnt going to happen as we had a flat. So I started to change it but Cathy called a neighbour over to give me a hand (THANKYOU) The best thing about getting a flat tyre was I got to see Natosha and she looks beautiful with her little baby bump. She is still a feisty girl, as her boyfriend was hassling her and she clobbered him across the face! You go Girl! Was beginning to think I wasnt going to get to see Mack after all. But as we pulled up at the gate who was standing near the fence my handsome little man Mack!OR at least Im 90% sure it was. That just completed my day
