Epic post alert! Someone told me: I need a stable job, something that wont be unpredictable and I can keep for a long time and really count on. Pause...Ok...so does anyone on my FB friends list believe that ANY job where you are an employee is 100% stable and predictable? When I was 18 and working as an event coordinator, I was laid off because I was the one with the least experience and someone had to go since the economy led to company budget cuts. A year later, working as a banker, I watched several of my coworkers involuntarily change their roles due to company restructuring...some were happy about it, and some were not. My father was a contractor, and even with a stable contract he went through times when his contract was terminated early or changed. There are certainly wonderful jobs out there where we work to help a company make more money and get paid a little bit in exchange for 40-60 hours a week of our time so we can pay our bills, but I have yet to hear of one where we are able to count on it to be stable 100% of the time. And I also know many people who are horribly unhappy with their jobs but feel stuck in them. Have YOU been through a similar experience in your career life as an employee? Have you had someone you love go through it? Now I am not going to say that my choice to join Beachbody in 2009 delivered the perfect career...Im just saying from personal experience: its a much BETTER one! Heres why: 1. Small amount of investment and no risk whatsoever 2. Huge demand for what I do (physical fitness industry) 3. Residual income (money that comes in whether I show up for work that day/week/month or not) 4. Unlimited income potential 5. 100% job security (I am my own boss, so I cannot get fired, laid off, relocated or re-positioned) 6. Flexible schedule (My work is completed in 2-10 hours a week, any time of night or day so I can be WIFE, MOM, and VOLUNTEER first
